Customer Reviews
Detailed review of my recent order
I placed an order for the Excel Meadow Hay and a bag of Excel Chinchilla Nuggets. The website was pretty easy to navigate, and finding what I needed was simple. Checkout was smooth, and I received an order confirmation almost immediately. Delivery took about 4 days, which was within the expected timeframe. Everything arrived well-packaged and undamaged. The hay was fresh and green, and my chinchillas really enjoyed the nuggets; I've noticed less waste compared to their previous food. I appreciate that they offer specific foods for different small animals. I had a quick question about my tracking number and used their contact form, and got a helpful response within a few hours. Good experience overall, especially for specialized pet food.
Mostly good, delivery could improve
I bought the Sensitive Dog Food for my older dog. The food itself is excellent, he's been eating it well and it suits his stomach. The ordering process online was straightforward enough. However, delivery took 5 days to reach Denver, which felt a bit long. It wasn't urgent, but I've had faster shipping from other pet stores. Overall, a solid choice for pet food, just plan for a slightly longer wait.
Consistent quality for my small pets
I've been ordering Excel Timothy Hay for my rabbits and guinea pigs from here for a while now. This time I also added some Excel Gnaw Sticks. The hay is always fresh and good quality, and my pets never seem to get tired of it. It's reassuring to know what to expect. My last order was just as good as this one. It's why I keep coming back, can rely on them for my small animal supplies.
My cat loved it
Grabbed some Supacat Cat Food for my picky eater. He usually turns his nose up at new stuff, but he actually liked this one! So that's a win. The website was easy to use, no fuss at checkout. Got here pretty fast too, like 4 days. Happy with it.
Great value on first order
This was my first time buying from Burgess Pet Care. I got the Excel Guinea Pig Nuggets. I used the newsletter sign-up offer for 10% off. With free delivery, it felt like a really good deal. The guineas seem to enjoy the food too. Definitely worth it for the price.
Good food, fast delivery
I ordered Excel Rabbit Nuggets. They arrived quickly, just 3 days to my door. My rabbit likes them. Good quality food.

Just found out about this brand, seems pretty good. How long does delivery usually take to, say, Manchester? Need to stock up before the weekend.
My rabbit decided he hates his new food after one bite, typical. What's their return policy like? Is it a pain to send stuff back if he won't touch it?
Anyone know if they do any special discounts for first time buyers? Thinking of trying out their dog food for my lab.
Thinking of getting a big box of Timothy hay, it's cheaper that way. Does anyone know if the free delivery over 30 quid applies to everything or just specific items?
Hey guys, wondering about the rabbit nuggets. My bunny has a super sensitive tummy, pretty much everything upsets her. Are these okay for sensitive rabbits or should I just stick to hay?
